Barcode Scanner MCP connector

Barcode Scanner by Tool4seller is an independent product research service developed by Tapcash Inc. for Amazon retail arbitrage sellers.

Connect from Claude

1. Open Claude Connectors and add a custom remote MCP connector, or select Barcode Scanner from the directory when available.
2. Use the server URL https://api.barcode.tool4seller.com/mcp. Authentication uses OAuth 2.0 and a Client ID Metadata Document; no client secret is needed.
3. Sign in with an existing Barcode Scanner account and approve access to product research and your Amazon store connection list.

A Tool4seller website account is not automatically a Barcode Scanner account. An Amazon store connection is optional for available public product research; store-specific results and some fee estimates need your own authorized connection.

What the connector does

• Lists supported Amazon marketplaces and your own store connections.
• Finds Amazon product candidates from one barcode or ASIN, then returns available product and competition signals for a selected match.
• Estimates FBA or FBM fees, profit, margin, and ROI from prices and costs you supply.

It cannot create Buy List items, Amazon listings, ads, or financial transactions. Product searches and research save minimal activity or observations in Barcode; profit estimates are not saved. Estimates do not guarantee profit or selling eligibility. This service is not affiliated with Amazon.

Troubleshooting

• If your organization blocks custom connectors, ask its Claude administrator to enable Barcode Scanner.
• If authorization fails, reconnect and sign in with an active Barcode Scanner account. A Tool4seller website login may be separate.
• If product or fee data is unavailable, confirm the marketplace, product match, item condition, and required prices or costs. Some external data may be unavailable or delayed.
